of 24, not only caring for your pets, but in addition,
keeping your house safe and secure giving you peace of mind
and allowing you to relax while you are away.

How do you choose my Angel?
We ask you to complete a comprehensive booking form, which
we use to ensure that the most suitable
pet sitter is
allocated to your booking.
We appreciate that everyone's needs are different and in order to
ensure that we provide you with an individual service, an
experienced member of our Customer Service Team will
personally oversee your booking and maintain contact
throughout.
Will I be able to meet my
Angel first?
Yes, once your booking has been
confirmed and processed, your
Angel
will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient
time to meet. This preliminary meeting is very important to
both you and your
pet sitter,
as it gives you an opportunity to run through all your pets'
routines and habits. It is also a chance to complete a
comprehensive checklist detailing information about your
home eg. where the trip switch is, whether there are plants
to water, which day the bins are collected etc.
Once you have met your Angel
a member of our Customer Service Team will call you to
check that you and your pets were happy with our choice of
pet sitter. In the
unlikely event that you or your pets are not 100% happy,
please tell us - as we appreciate that you must be
comfortable with the Angel staying in your home. We will
then allocate an alternative
pet and
house sitter, subject to availability. You will be
required to pay travelling expenses to pet sitters who
attend a preliminary meeting.
I live in a modest home and
I have an assortment of pets to care for - can you help?
Yes, all we ask is that you provide
somewhere clean and comfortable for your
pet sitter to sleep and
reside and have adequate food preparation and cooking facilities
available for them to use. We have yet to be surprised by
quantities or varieties of animals that we are asked to look
after!
What does the Angel do while
I am away?
Using the information obtained from
your
booking form and at the preliminary meeting, your Angel will
follow all your routines. This will include feeding, grooming and
exercising your pets, keeping your home clean and tidy, maintaining
your garden
as needed and any other special instructions you have agreed
with your
house and pet sitter. Your Angel has three
hours, during daylight hours,
to explore the local area, do a spot of shopping or
whatever they wish. Your pet sitter resides in your home 21
hours out of 24 and they must be in residence during the
hours of darkness.
Do I have to provide food for
my Angel?
Your Angel will provide their own
food, however,
you will need to provide sufficient food and supplies for your
pets.
What if there is a problem
at home while I am away?
Our Angels are chosen for their ability to handle
household emergencies and take appropriate and immediate
action. However, should a situation arise whereby your pet
sitter requires help and support, Animal Angels provides a 24-hour emergency
help line, 365 days a year, where
pet and
house sitters can obtain
advice and assistance from a senior member of our team.
Are Angels Angels pet and house sitters insured?
Animal Angels has comprehensive
public liability
insurance which covers you, as the client, against acts of negligence
deemed to be the responsibility of the pet sitter.
If you would
like your
pet sitter to drive your car - please arrange
fully comprehensive insurance for him or her to do so.
What if I am delayed and the
Angel has to leave?
Your Angel will stay until your return, unless they are required
at another booking, whereby our Customer Service Team will
act immediately in order to provide you an alternative
pet sitter. Arrangements will be made to complete a
thorough handover to ensure continuity for your pets and
security for your home. Throughout this process the Animal
Angels 24-hour emergency help line will be available to our
pet
sitters to provide advice and assistance.
Do you offer any discounts?
If
we receive your booking form accompanied by your deposit more than
sixty days before your departure date, you will benefit from
an early settlement discount of 5% from the
Animal
Angels fee. Bookings for periods in excess
of thirty days also attract a discount and our Customer
Service Team will be happy to discuss this with you. Our
daily rate does not vary during school breaks or public
holidays, however we have four premium days a year which are
Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's
Day. The cost of providing our service substantially
increases over this period. In order for us to maintain our
high standards and include our
Animal Angels 24-hour emergency help line, it is
necessary to double our daily rate on these four days only.

Do you pass my details to other
companies?
We do not divulge any information to any other person or organisation.
The details you provide us with are held under our data
protection registration Z4723401. Our Angels are instructed not to discuss your details with anyone other
than Animal Angels and yourself.
