Why do I need a House and Pet Sitter - are kennels not just as good?

Your animals can stay in their own familiar environment and surroundings and be guaranteed the same exercise, feeding and grooming routines and loving care they normally receive. Your home will be occupied and therefore protected from thieves and vandals, giving you that extra peace of mind, enabling you to relax whilst you are away. Maintenance of your home and garden are performed during your absence, ensuring that you will not need to mop up after a burst pipe, or make a trip to the garden centre for yet another lot of patio plants to replace those that died!

Why should I choose Animal Angels as our House and Pet Sitting Company?

We specialise in the care of animals and our Pet Sitters are chosen for their integrity, common sense and most importantly their love of animals. We pride ourselves on Customer Service, we really do listen to your requirements carefully and act accordingly.

How do you know what I want?


We appreciate that everyone's needs are different and in order to ensure that we provide you with an individual service, an experienced member of our Customer Service Team will personally care for you throughout your booking. The Angel we think is most suitable for your requirements, will contact you BEFORE your booking commences to arrange a preliminary meeting where they can meet you and your pets and discuss your requirements in even more detail. We ask you to complete a comprehensive booking form, which we use to ensure that the most suitable Angel is allocated to your booking.

What happens if I am not happy with the Angel suggested?

It is unlikely because of the procedure we follow, but we appreciate that you must be comfortable with the Angel staying in your home-so tell us! We will allocate an alternative, subject to availability. You will need to pay travelling expenses to Angels who attend a preliminary meeting.

I live in a modest home and I have an assortment of
animals to care for - Can you help?


Yes! All we ask is that you provide somewhere clean and comfortable for the sitter to sleep and reside, and have adequate food preparation and cooking facilities available for them to use. We have yet to be surprised by quantities or varieties of animals that we are asked to look after!

So what does the Angel do whilst I am away?

Using the information obtained from you at the preliminary meeting, the Angel will fulfill your requirements. This will include feeding, grooming and exercising your animals, maintaining your home and garden and any other special instructions you have given and agreed with your Angel. Your Angel is allowed three hours away from your property each day during daylight hours to explore the local countryside, do a spot of shopping or whatever they wish. They have to be in residence during the hours of darkness.

Do I have to provide food?

You will need to provide adequate provisions for your pets. Your Angel will source and provide his or her own food.

What happens if there is a problem at home whilst I am away?

Our Angels are chosen for their ability to handle household emergencies, but should one arise when support is needed Animal Angels provides a 24-hour emergency help line, 365 days a year, where Angels can obtain advice and assistance from a senior member of our team

Are you and the Angels insured?


Animal Angels and their Angels have comprehensive Public liability Insurance which covers our clients against acts of negligence. The insurance works alongside your own policies to ensure all parties involved have complete peace of mind. If you would like your Angel to drive your car-please arrange fully comprehensive insurance for him or her to do so.

What if I am delayed or the Angel has to leave?

Your Angel will stay until your return, provided they are not required at another booking, whereby alternative arrangements will be made. If an Angel has a personal emergency or is taken ill, our 24hr help line is on hand to provide assistance.

Do you offer any discounts?

YES! If we receive a booking accompanied by your deposit more than sixty days before your departure date you will benefit from an early settlement discount. Bookings for periods in excess of thirty days also attract a discount and our staff will be happy to discuss this with you. Our daily rate does not vary during school breaks or public holidays other than Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Do you pass my details to other companies?

NO! The details you provide us with are held under our data protection registration Z4723401. We do not divulge any information to any other person or organisation. Our Angels are instructed not to discuss your details with anyone other than Animal Angels and yourself.
