Why we believe our Pet Sitters are
second to none...
Animal
Angels pet and house sitters are mature, responsible individuals
or couples, who are trustworthy, competent
animal lovers.
They have a wealth of experience with a variety of
animals and are active, hardworking individuals,
providing expert care for your much loved pets.
Our pet sitters are sympathetic to animals with special
needs, such as arthritis, incontinence, deafness or
diabetes. They are adept at administering medication and
highly experienced in dealing with animals of different
ages and different health issues. Our
pet sitters
reside in your home 21 out of 24 hours a day and will
keep your pets' routines, ensuring they are comfortable
and content while you are away.
We look at your pets' specific needs and your individual
requirements to ensure that we find you the right sitter
for you and your pets. We make sure that your sitter is
fit and able enough to look after your pets and follow
all their routines, such as regular exercise, grooming
and administering medication.
Our pet and house sitters come from a variety of
backgrounds and have experience in working with
organisations such as the RSPCA, Cinnamon Trust, Cat
Protection League and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Many of
our
pet sitters have had experience of fostering dogs
and cats, among other animals, and some have worked in
rescue centres both here and abroad.
To become part of the
Animal Angels team of
pet and house
sitters, applicants must undergo a lengthy and uncompromising
selection process. This involves acquiring both
professional and personal references dating back 20
years and we also require our prospective pet sitters to
obtain a CRB police check. This is followed by a personal interview at
our Head Office in Hampshire. A key part of this interview is dedicated
to ascertaining the applicants experience, competency and
empathy with animals.
Our aim is to provide you with a house and
pet sitter in whom you feel completely confident and
therefore giving you peace of mind during your absence.
All our
pet and house sitters are solely committed to caring for
your pets and home - they do not take on supplementary work
whilst on your booking or allow personal visitors into your
home.
